Terms of Service – CampusBite

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CampusBite (accessible at campusbite.online or via our mobile applications), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the service.

2. Platform Role

CampusBite acts as a technology intermediary platform connecting university students, verified campus food vendors, and independent dispatch riders. CampusBite does not prepare food directly; individual food vendors are responsible for food quality, preparation, and portion sizes in accordance with statutory health and hygiene standards.

3. Ordering, Pricing, and Delivery

Menu Accuracy: Vendors are responsible for keeping their menu items, prices, and availability current.
Delivery Timeframes: Estimated delivery windows (typically 15–30 minutes) are approximations based on normal kitchen prep and transit conditions. Extreme weather, rush hours, or campus access restrictions may cause occasional delays.
Delivery Address: Users must provide accurate hostel names, room numbers, or GPS map pins to ensure accurate fulfillment.

4. Payments, Wallet, and Campus Coins

All payments made via Mobile Money, cards, or in-app wallet are processed securely through certified payment gateways. Campus Coins and promotional vouchers earned through gamification or referrals hold no monetary cash surrender value outside the CampusBite platform and can only be redeemed for order discounts.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Orders may be cancelled free of charge before a vendor begins preparation. If a vendor rejects an order or is out of stock, full payment is refunded immediately to the student's in-app wallet.

6. Code of Conduct

Users, vendors, and riders agree to treat each other with mutual respect and professionalism. Abuse, fraudulent claims, non-payment, or harassment will result in immediate permanent account suspension.
